For documentation only. The list of descendants is also consolidated in the summary master document.

Notable grandchildren

S. Yizhar (Michael's son), one of Israel's most important writers, author of "Days of Ziklag" and "The Prisoner." Shaul Ben-Azar (Yehuda's son), a pianist; and in the generation after him, the actor Noam Ben-Azar and the journalist Tomer Ben-Azar. Thus AZR's creative line continued into the generations that followed.

The Ahdut HaAvoda Conference in His Home

AZR's home served as a gathering place for the labor movement, in keeping with his title "the grandfather of the Working Youth." His standing was not only literary but also social and movement-based. Tidhar

Distinguishing the ties: all the descendants listed here are direct blood relations (children and grandchildren). The surname "Azar"/"Ben Azar" is a later adoption of the initials AZR themselves as a family name, not an original name.
