2 · The Tidhar Corroboration
The Tidhar Encyclopedia (vol. 1, p. 254) is the authoritative biographical source that corroborates the tree: the names of the generations, the occupations (Tsvi-Hirsh a peddler; Tsirli a midwife; Golda "learned"), and the marriage (to Henya-Leah, daughter of R. Shaul Lapitzkin). Tidhar
3 · Resolving the First-Publication Contradiction
A contradiction in identifying the first publication
Different sources named different venues for AZR's first publication: "HaAsif" (Sokolow), "HaMelitz" of 5659 (1898/9), or his book "Al HaPerek" (1888). The distinction: one must differentiate between the first book (Al HaPerek, 1888, well documented) and the first publication in a periodical (disputed). The academic review added the "HaAsif" version; a definitive ruling requires his autobiographical writings or the jubilee volume.
